I might have been wrong with my judgment. The booked diesel locomotive was D6700 so it could have failed and been replaced with D123 LEICESTERSHIRE AND DERBYSHIRE YEOMANRY in an emergency. For whatever reason it was D123 that I photographed as it approached bridge GCR No.337 with the 10:15 from Loughborough to Leicester North on Sunday 9th October 2022.
