On previous visits to Lineage Farm crossing I have failed to take an acceptable photograph from the western side of the line of a train heading out from Shackerstone. I decided to use the long zoom on the Nikon to see how it worked. This first view at 300 mm gave a dramatic view but the line side vegetation was intrusive. The exhaust helped to make full use of the frame.
