The weekend of Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th July 2022 was The Market Bosworth Rail’s and Ale’s festival in conjunction with which The Battlefield Line operated a special Timetable. One steam and one diesel locomotive worked an hourly service over the line between Shackerstone and Shenton. With nothing feasible on the main line it provided an ideal opportunity to take some railway photographs close to home and to try one or two variations on some of my regular locations.
