On Saturday 24th February 2018 we could hear the sound of a Jubilee working hard miles away as it climbed to Grayrigg, but after passing Tebay the sky blackened as engine and train came round the curve to Greenholme. 45699 GALATEA must have been close to the limit of both steam production and adhesion.
