When the sound of a Stanier hooter was heard from the direction of Quorn I expected to see the north facing 8F come round the curve at Buddon Wood. It was a real pleasure to welcome back Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 45305 after it's load period to Vintage Trains for their Polar Express service.
