This train began the day departing from Rothley at 10:00 for Leicester North. It then formed the 10:12 from Leicester North to Nunckley Hill and it was photographed from the Fielding Road foot crossing. Why does it have 'eyes' on the front? Nobody could tell me if it improved performance or economy!
