The Nikon provided an almost identical image to the previous shot. On Friday 9th July 2021 the RTC "End of Southern Steam" commemorative rail-tour from Weymouth to London Victoria was seen approaching Eastleigh Station hauled by BR(SR) MN Class 8P 4-6-2 35018 BRITISH INDIA LINE. I had expected to use one more of the images recoreded by the Nikon to complete this Gallery. However when I looked for this last image I saw what I thought was an imperfection or a steam leak. Further investigation revealed that I had captured, in four still images, an interesting story that I thought to be worth including. Please look at these images that appear under the title 'Transit of Venus'. There is a happy outcome and a morale for all railway enthusiasts.
