On Saturday 18th December 2021 another "White Rose" excursion was heading for York. This was a Vintage Trains promotion hauled by 7029 CLUN CASTLE. I expected to combine my railway photography with a vist to the McArthur Glenn Designer Village near York; one of Valerie's favourite sources for Christmas presents. However that was pre-Covid and no longer meets requirements so the alternative venue at M1 Junction 28 was requested. I still managed to see "The White Rose" twice and, and if I had been cleverer it could have been thrice! The weather was poor but I managed to just about avoid the rain.
