On Friday 30th July 2021 Peppercorn A1 Class 4-6-2 60163 TORNADO gave a master class in steam locomotive performance while gaining eight minutes on the schedule between Oxenholme and Shap Summit when hauling "The Northern Belle" from Carnforth to Carlisle.
