Experience has shown that I cannot always beat a train between Quorn and Fielding Road/Leicester North so I went instead to Loughborough to see if the diner was running on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately it wasn't but conditions were good so I decided to photograph the 12:00 DMU from Beeches Road bridge. The blue unit was made up of DMCL E50266, TCL W59506 and DMBS M50203 as usual.
