Sowerby Bridge Station was packed with people who had been informed by local media that a steam hauled special was passing on Saturday 19th September 2020. (Many, of course, thought it was Flying Scotsman!) "The Ticket to Ride" excursion from Darlington North Road to Liverpool Lime Street was hauled by Peppercorn A1 Class 8P 4-6-2 60163 TORNADO which looked superb in recently applied BR green livery.
