After 48305 had returned to Loughborough with the diner it took me a while to realise that it could not leave with the delayed 15:30 service because there were no coaches available to form the train. Eventually D8098 descended past Woodthorpe with the necessary coaches but as the 8F would be tender first when it eventually departed and it was impossible to predict how long it would be before 3802 returned I decided to leave and cut my losses. I have plenty of other things to do at present.
