I had hoped that I should arrive at Woodthorpe Lane before the 14:00 diesel hauled train departed from Loughborough. Unfortunately this was not the case as the 14:00 was only a few minutes late. It would be seriously late by the time it returned to Loughborough! Ex-GWR 2-8-0 3802 was recorded passing Woodthorpe with the very late running scheduled 13:35 down from Leicester North on Sunday 10th October 2021.
