In 2021 "The Belmond British Pullman" excursions running through the Surrey Hills have been reorganised to stop for about twenty minutes at Chertsey. I have no information as to why the pause has been moved from Addlestone Junction but it makes photography slightly easier. On Saturday 11th December the train was hauled by BR(SR) Merchant Navy Class 8P 4-6-2 35028 CLAN LINE.
