The exhaust steam is now clear of the first two coaches as ex-GWR Castle 5043 EARL OF MOUNT EDGCUMBE leaves Chesterfield with "The Christmas White Rose" to York on 16th December 2017. It is not uncommon for the exhaust steam to come down on the train behind double chimney 4-6-0s. I wonder what Castles and Kings would look like if fitted with Royal Scot or BR standard deflector plates?
