I suspect that the use of a telephoto lens has exaggerated the super-elevation of the curved approach to the site of Fritwell and Somerton Station. It certainly created a dramatic effect when 7029 CLUN CASTLE passed on Tuesday 6th December 2022 hauling “The Merchant Venturer” excursion.
