I had arrived at Banbury North on Tuesday 6th December 2022 just as the train appeared in the distance. By the time I had fitted the 28-300 mm lens the train was in position and I just beat the auto-focus. 7029 CLUN CASTLE was in shadow but the exhaust and background were illuminated by bright winter sunlight.
