Unsure which way the locomotive was facing, we went to Market Bosworth as there was no sign of the train at Shackerstone. We were greeted by a friend and fellow enthusiast/photographer who informed us that the train had made a non-scheduled extra run and would return from Shenton very soon. Sure enough the train appeared in the distance to be recorded entering the station running past the signal box.
