It was most unusual for the exhaust steam from a double Kylchap equipped 3 cylinder LNER pacific to shoot so high into the sky as that from 60163 TORNADO when it climbed the 1 in 176 gradient towards Quorn with the 15:15 from Loughborough on Sunday 9th January 2022. There was almost no evidence of the building work going on to the right of the photograph.
