Bright sunlight catching the exhaust smoke from English Electric Type 1 Bo-Bo diesel electrics 20 189 and 20 142 created an atmospheric effect when they were seen hauling “The Jolly Fisherman” excursion on Friday 12th August 2022. What atmospheric pollution will arise from photochemistry and exhaust gas is best left to the imagination!
