On Sunday 16th February 2020 the GCR had to close the section of line between Rothley and Leicester North due to poor weather conditions. North Eastern Railway diesel electric auto-car 3170 was seen approaching Quorn and Woodhouse with a train from Rothley that originated as the 12:00 from Loughborough.
