The ECS for the first up passenger train was booked to leave Loughborough at 09:55. It was about 10:12 before the advanced starter at Charnwood Water cleared. Double heading by Stanier Class 8F 2-8-0 48305 and Ivatt Class 2 2-6-0 46521 certainly created a good impression as they approached the A6 road bridge attempting to make up lost time on Saturday 5th June 2021.
