The last up train on Sunday 20th September 2020 began as the 15:15 ECS from Loughborough to Quorn with locomotive Class 8F 2-8-0 48305 already attached. The first stages of the work to develop the north-east field at Woodthorpe have begun with the erection of some timber and plastic sheet fencing.
