Vintage trains promoted this excursion from Tyseley on Sunday 5th December 2021 to give passengers from the Birmingham area an opportunity to visit the market in Melton Mowbray. There was an option in the afternoon to take a return trip to Corby, passing over Harringworth Viaduct in both directions. To avoid the requirement to run round the train and eliminate the need to turn locomotives the train was operated top & tail with 7029 Clun Castle leading on the outward journey and 6233 Duchess of Sutherland heading the return.
