Carrying the rather optimistic destination of Ruddington, Metropolitan Cammell DMBS E50266 led Pressed Steel TCL W59506 and Metro-Cammell DMCL M50203 towards Fielding Road public footpath crossing on Sunday 2nd January 2022 with the 11:00 from Leicester North. The train can go no further than Loughborough at present but, when re-unification has been completed, Ruddington will be the northern terminus of the preserved Great Central Railway.
