The main causes of late running on Sunday 19th September 2021 were due to fitting two DALEX return trips into the advertised public timetable. On the second up trip an effort to minimise the problem was clearly visible in the exhaust steam at a location where normal practice involves coasting. Although not shown in a photograph, the turnaround time in Leicester North was also short and running back was much more adventurous.
