This scene is recognisable instantly by railway enthusiasts that love the Settle and Carlisle Line as the view from Duncowfold Bridge, near Cotehill. Midland Pullman's excursion from Eastleigh to Carlisle, the "Settle and Carlisle Pullman", was running six minutes early when it passed the now dilapidated permanent way hut on Saturday 22nd January 2022. The train was made up of nine HST MK3 coaches sandwiched between power cars 43 047 and 43 049.
