The entire process of requesting a train to stop was very well managed by this young passenger, the locomotive crews and the Guards. I was most impressed with the entire operation. Northwood Halt is an outstanding example of a Great Western Railway branch line Halt with its pagoda waiting shelter and grass topped short platform. To see it used in this way was a real highlight of my visit.
