Hawksworth 0-6-0PT 1501 was about to pass Northwood Halt with the 12:17 local train from Highley to Kidderminster on Saturday 23rd April 2022. This type of locomotive was always considered to be best suited to heavy shunting or empty carriage movement but 1501 has worked passenger services with great success for many years in preservation.
