It seemed ignominious that a locomotive as impressive as Gresley A4 Class 8P 4-6-2 4498 SIR NIGEL GRESLEY should be called to make a request stop at Northwood Halt. This was the case on Saturday 23rd April 2022 when the Gresley pacific hauled the 09:50 from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster on the Severn Valley Railway.
