The ECS from Loughborough to Quorn on the morning of Sunday 6th June 2021 was expected to be double headed. As can be seen in this view it ran behind just the Ivatt Class 2 2-6-0 46521 somewhat later than expected. As usual I headed to Birstall to see the train approach Leicester North but that coincided with a very heavy rain shower so I elected to keep my cameras dry.
