On Sunday 19th December 2021 I visited the GCR to photograph the "Santa Express" trains. It turned out to be my last visit before the start of the Christmas Holiday period and, therefore, the last time I viewed the real Santa Specials in 2021. Again 73156 was the steam locomotive hauling the trains on the outward journey and it was supported by D8098 for the return workings on the north end of the train.
