In all the captions to this series of "Northern Belle" photographs taken on 11th August 2021 I have not mentioned the WCRC diesel locomotive that was attached at the rear of the train. Close examination of the exhaust outlet shows no detectable smoke which can mean only that no significant work was done. I believe that the locomotive was 57 314 for the record.
