And now for the main subject of my visit to West Shed on Saturday 20th April 2024. LMS 45050, DYNAMOMETER CAR No.1, stood resplendent outside West Shed in bright sunshine on Saturday 20th April 2024. Immediate features that draw attention are the ‘birdcage roof’ on the leading end and the apparent Co-Bo wheel arrangement.
